DAMASEC and BULUCU featured at the NATO SCI-321 meeting
DAMASEC’s work and the BULUCU system were featured in TÜBİTAK SAGE’s “C-IED activities in Türkiye” presentation at the 6th meeting of the NATO SCI-321 group.
At the 6th meeting of the NATO Science and Technology Organization’s SCI-321 group on 16 November 2022, TÜBİTAK SAGE gave a presentation on Counter-IED activities in Türkiye. DAMASEC was introduced as a company with experience in C-IED and military search activities.
Highlights from the presentation
- Completion in 2022 of an underground UXO search and clearance operation covering 1.5 million square metres with a UAV system
- Clearance of a former firing range so that it could be opened to commercial use
- Applications of BULUCU, DAMASEC’s drone-based magnetic gradiometer, in UXO and improvised-explosive search, utility detection and archaeology
- System features such as OPM sensors, centimetre-level RTK/PPK GNSS positioning, true terrain-following flight and real-time data processing
